Apple Inc. is preparing for its largest product launch event of the year on September 10, where it will reveal the latest iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods. The event, scheduled for a Tuesday, will be followed by a September 20 release of the new iPhone 16, aligning with Apple’s recent release patterns.
The new iPhone 16 is expected to feature larger screens on its Pro models and enhanced camera capabilities, including a dedicated photo button. Apple is also introducing a suite of artificial intelligence tools named Apple Intelligence. Although the new iPhones will not be drastically different from last year’s models, the updated devices are crucial for Apple, which has faced sluggish sales recently.
In addition to the iPhone, Apple will launch the Apple Watch Series 10, which will be thinner with larger screens, and update its AirPods lineup with new low-end and mid-tier versions, including noise cancellation on the mid-level model.
Apple is also preparing to transition its Macs to the new M4 processors later this year, with testing underway on four new Mac models. These updates are expected to be announced about a month after the iPhone launch.
The upcoming product releases are pivotal for Apple, as the company aims to boost sales and revenue, which is projected to grow 5% in its fiscal fourth quarter and 7% to $128.4 billion in the holiday season.
