To Enhance Madhya Pradesh’s Electronics and Semiconductor Industry, MPSeDC Signs MoU with IESA

In a significant boost for India’s electronics and semiconductor industry, the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) and Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) signed a key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 8, 2024. Announced during the Invest Madhya Pradesh Bengaluru tour, the MoU aims to enhance the state’s Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) ecosystem.

The agreement targets advancements in electronic services, component manufacturing, PCB design, and semiconductor assembly, supporting India’s goal to lead globally in ESDM by 2030. Dr. Veerappan, IESA Chairperson, emphasized the MoU’s role in creating a collaborative system to contribute to the $500 billion ESDM market.

MPSEDC Managing Director Anshul Gupta and IESA President Ashok Chandak highlighted the MoU’s potential for significant sector growth and job creation, with efforts focused on policy development,
