Mankind Pharma, the maker of the popular pregnancy test kit Prega News, is targeting growth in the women’s healthcare and fertility sectors. The company has acquired a 100% stake in Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited (BSV) for approximately ₹13,630 crores from Advent International. This move is set to bolster Mankind Pharma’s portfolio, which includes products like Unwanted-72, Nufol, and Dydroboon, with BSV’s range of women’s health and fertility solutions.

The Indian market alone is projected to reach ₹31,000 crores by 2030, growing at an 11.5% CAGR.
Mankind Pharma’s product lineup also includes Dutan for menstrual disorders and Fertisure supplements for fertility. The company’s turnover has surged from ₹6,400 crores to ₹10,550 crores over the past five years, with a consistent double-digit growth rate. This acquisition is anticipated to enhance Mankind Pharma’s position in both the Indian and international markets.
