Skechers India has announced Indian cricketer Yastika Bhatia as its newest brand ambassador for the Performance category. Bhatia, who made her debut for the Indian women’s cricket team in 2021, will be the first female player to wear Skechers cricket boots, following Ishan Kishan’s recent endorsement.
The cricket boots are set to launch on September 30, with Bhatia also featuring in marketing campaigns for Skechers’ Performance and Lifestyle collections. Known for her batting and wicket-keeping skills, Bhatia joins a distinguished roster of Skechers athletes, including football stars Sunil Chhetri and Harry Kane, and cricketers Ishan Kishan and global icons from various sports.
Rahul Vira, CEO of Skechers Asia Pvt. Ltd., expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Bhatia’s alignment with Skechers’ values of perseverance and excellence. Bhatia, excited about the collaboration, praised the comfort and performance of the Skechers cricket shoes, describing them as a game-changer.
The new Skechers cricket boots and other Performance and Lifestyle footwear are available for purchase across India starting September 30.
