In his 78th Independence Day address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined a vision for India’s future focused on technological innovation, green growth, and economic self-reliance.

PM Modi highlighted the potential of leveraging India’s heritage to develop indigenous gaming products, aiming for Indian professionals to lead globally. He praised the Indian gaming industry and esports achievements, despite challenges like the lack of an official League of Legends server.

He also stressed India’s goal to become a global leader in semiconductor production, with four plants under development in Gujarat and Assam. Modi introduced the “Design in India, Design for the World” concept to promote domestic and international product innovation.

Additionally, PM Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to green growth, targeting significant emissions reductions and leadership in green hydrogen. He announced plans to add 75,000 new medical seats and urged the induction of 100,000 youth into politics to address nepotism and casteism. These initiatives aim to position India as a global leader across various sectors.
