Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday called for collective action to protect the environment, emphasizing the need for a greener and healthier future. Speaking at a cyclothon organized by the Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair and the IMCT Foundation, Sharma highlighted the dangers of increasing pollution, climate change, and resource exploitation.

Sharma stressed that individual actions, such as reducing vehicle use and planting trees, are essential in combating pollution. He also encouraged participation in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to further environmental protection efforts.
The event, aimed at promoting both environmental awareness and physical fitness, was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports K K Vishnoi, MP Manju Sharma, MLA Balmukandacharya, Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Puneet Karnawat, and various environmentalists.
