Zepto, the quick commerce startup, is set to move its operations from Mumbai to Bengaluru. The company plans to shift from its Powai office to Sarjapur, consolidating its workforce of around 1,700-1,800 employees in one location.

The move will integrate Zepto’s business and tech teams, currently split between Mumbai and Bengaluru. The company is offering relocation expenses for employees, with the total cost estimated at ₹3-4 crore, which is expected to be offset by monthly rent savings of ₹40-50 lakh.

Zepto is finalizing a new office in Bengaluru, considering areas like Sarjapur, HSR, and Bellandur, which are popular with multinational companies and startups. Reports indicate that around 90% of Mumbai-based employees are willing to relocate, with only a small percentage potentially unable to make the move.
