The Regional Industry Conclave in Gwalior, the third such event in Madhya Pradesh this year, has drawn significant industry interest with nine sectors exploring opportunities in the region.
Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Port and SEZ Limited, announced the Adani Group’s plans to invest ₹3,500 crore in Madhya Pradesh. The investments include a 2 million-tonne cement grinding unit in Guna and a state-of-the-art propelling unit in Shivpuri, which are expected to create over 3,500 jobs.
Adani highlighted the state’s economic progress under Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and praised Gwalior’s growth as a tourism and talent hub. The Adani Defence facility in Gwalior, noted as the country’s largest small-arms plant, underscores the region’s role as a global manufacturing center.
The Gwalior-Chambal region, with its strategic location and major road connections, continues to attract substantial industry interest, following previous conclaves in Jabalpur and Ujjain earlier this year.
